ARTICLE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
We believe that everyone has a story to tell, and we would love to help you share yours with our readers. By writing for us, you’ll have the opportunity to reach a wide audience of WordPress.org enthusiasts who are eager to learn and grow. You’ll also have the chance to showcase your expertise, build your portfolio, and connect with like-minded individuals in the WordPress community. Whether you’re an experienced writer or a first-time contributor, we welcome your unique perspectives and insights. So don’t be shy – take a chance and send us your best work.
To ensure your article aligns with our editorial goals and readers’ interests, your submission must:
- Be relevant to WordPress.org users: Our readers are interested in all things WordPress.org, so make sure your article is focused on this topic. We can’t consider off-topic articles.
- Be original and unpublished: We only accept original pieces that have not been previously published or are currently under consideration elsewhere.
- Provide more than a high level view: The content must provide detailed research and in depth information that goes beyond the basics.
- Informative and educational: Our readers are looking for informative and educational content. Please refrain from making your article promotional in nature.
- Proper copyright permissions: If you are including any images or content in your article, please ensure that you have the proper copyright permissions for them.
- High-resolution photographs: If you include photographs in your article, please make sure they are high resolution.
We don’t currently pay for articles or images, but we do offer name credits and the opportunity for article writers to include a brief bio with their work. If you have a completed article that matches the above guidelines, please feel free to send it to us for review. We will let you know in a week or less if we plan to publish it.
If you are unsure if your article or idea is a match for our readers, please contact us with the following information:
- A brief outline of your proposed article and what you hope to achieve with it.
- The approximate word count of your article.
- The date by which you can complete your article.
- If you have previously published work, please include a link to examples of your writing.
We welcome contributions from anyone who has something valuable to share with our visitors. You don’t need formal writing experience or a publication history to write for us. If you have an idea or a completed article that you think would be a good fit for our site, let us know. We look forward to reading your ideas!
